Adam Reingold, Executive Director
Adam’s passion for mission driven organizations led him to rapidly become an authority on fundraising, marketing, business development, NGO optimization, and taking nonprofit organizations “to the next level” through mission driven initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Regional Development and Business Administration from University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!) and an MBA in Nonprofit Management from American Jewish University. Adam has been a principal executive at Boys & Girls Clubs, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and other nonprofit organizations. As the first Executive Director of SLAM! Program Los Angeles, Adam is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational growth of the organization, fundraising, as well as supervising and supporting the regional program staff for each SLAM! university chapter.
Scott Johnson, SLAM! at UCLA Program Manager
With degrees in Education and Music from USC and Cal Poly SLO, Scott is an adaptable musician and educator with seven years of in-school and after school teaching experience in LA public schools. He has taught marching band, piano, and classical guitar as well as directed Streetlamp Studio's summer youth arts outreach, When Justice and Peace Kiss. He grew up singing and playing guitar, bass, and drums in church as well as in his dad's rock/pop/jazz groups. He is thrilled to join SLAM! in cultivating meaningful musical and social opportunities for everyone involved!
Jenny Long, SLAM! at USC Program Manager
Jenny attended Harvard University for her Masters in Arts in Education with an emphasis in music. Having worked with underserved schools throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, Jenny has experience developing curriculum for both educators and students in science + arts learning. As a musician and songwriter, Jenny performs and collaborates with artists all over Los Angeles. With great excitement, Jenny joins the team as the Program Manager of the SLAM! chapter at USC.
Roberto Hermosillo, SLAM! at MI Program Manager
With a Master of Music from Berklee College of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Guitar from Pepperdine University, Roberto is a versatile musician and a passionate music educator. After living, studying, and performing in Europe, South America, and the United States, he keeps an active performing career as a classical guitarist and as a singer/songwriter in Southern California. Moreover, he is a member of the Music Faculty at Chaffey College, and he has gladly taken on the position of Program Manager for the Musicians Institute chapter at SLAM!.
